Lamb and Feta Rolls in Grape Leaves

Yield: 24 each



1 ½ lb ground lamb

½ tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp oregano leaves: dry

1 tsp kosher salt

½ tsp fresh ground black pepper

¼ cup minced onion

Olive oil

2 cups cooked rice

1 cup feta cheese crumbles

½ cups toasted pine nuts

½ cup golden raisins

1 tbsp chopped fresh mint

2 tsp chopped fresh cilantro

¼ cup olive oil

24 grape leave (bottled, rinsed)



  1. Sautee onion in olive oil over medium heat until blonde.
  2. Add the lamb meat and spices and cook thoroughly.
  3. Drain off any liquid and cool the lamb meat.
  4. Mix with all the other ingredients and then rollup in the grape leaves and serve.
